PLASTPOL 2016 – motan-colortronic expands market presence

As Detlev Schmidt, motan-colortronic's Sales Director in Isny summed up, "Our success story continues! Following a very successful 2015, we are anticipating to perform even better still in 2016." An expectation that seems easily justified considering the high number of visitors to the company's stand. The stand provided visitors with information on a cross section of motan-colortronic's product portfolio and a chance to discuss specific solutions for special requirements. "Our aim at this year's PLASTPOL was to give visitors a well-rounded overview of the full spectrum of products and services we offer. That is, from the advice we provide, to commissioning a system and to our after-sales-service - whether that's for individual units or complex system" explains Schmidt. "One of the most important things for us is to maintain close relations with our business partners, many of which are global players and depend on strong local presences." 

As well as the above, motan-colortronic also used the occasion of the PLASTPOL to launch a new remote maintenance system on the Polish market. This system brings a new level of ease to remote conveying, drying and dosing system maintenance. It does not require any special programming skills, proprietary hard or software modules or complex firewall configurations.

It is designed to enable operators to identify faults at all times with a minimum of effort. Because material transport, processing, and dosing systems are often very complex, usually, the only way to resolve a fault is to deploy a technician on a fault finding mission in the event of a problem. And this is where our remote maintenance systems comes in. Because instead of deploying a technician or even having to contact the system manufacturer for assistance, the system can be used to remotely analyse the entire system for faults through the internet or Intranet from a PC and identify the fault's cause.  This allows operators to quickly take appropriate measures and resolve the fault. This in turn minimises response times and also reduces internal and external personnel costs.
