The METRO HBS three phase material loaders offer a wide choice of loader-blower sets and are designed for higher throughputs from 300 up to 1600 kg/h. The units are supplied with a separate three-phase floor standing blower station which is low-noise and maintenance-free. The control panel is located at a convenient height, eliminating the need to climb onto the processing machine. An alarm indicates insufficient material.
Either one or two material loaders plus a blower station can be controlled through a single control panel. In effect, you can set up a small conveying system with two METRO HBS loaders serving either two machines or one machine and a drying bin.
For moderate distance conveying applications, nothing beats the simplicity of a side-channel vacuum blower. motan blowers utilize a one-piece fan and side-channel unit to produce reliable vacuum power. The simple, quiet compact design allows the pump station to run alongside the processing machine.
The large cloth filter is automatically cleaned by implosion three times before each loading. This guarantees constant and reliable material conveying and reduces maintenance costs for the loader. Because the material loader is air-tight, the conveying performance remains stable and there is no dust around the unit.
The vacuum module can be rotated by 360 °. This allows for a professional neat installation without unnecessary bends or hoses.
The METRO HBS material loader lid is free from any attachments such as hoses and valves. This allows you to safely and easily gain access to the unit, which saves time when cleaning the loader.
METRO HBS units are also available with two material inlets. A separate mixing valve is not needed as the METRO HBS loaders have an integral proportioning function for virgin and regrind material. The ratio between the materials is precisely adjustable, so that the loader delivers a completely homogeneous mixture.
A spring loaded damper on the discharge flap prevents the flap from completely closing when not under vacuum. During pneumatic conveying, any granules left lying on the discharge flap which might get trapped are first sucked away. With increasing vacuum, the flap is then pressed against the spring and will close completely.
Because the large material outlet has a discharge flap which is made of stainless steel, it is abrasion resistant and meets all requirements for medical or food packaging applications. The angled design increases the outlet area and helps with materials which may bridge.
The counterweight of the discharge flap is mounted on the outside of the loader discharge module. This means that the actual status of the loading cycle is visible at all times. Service work can be easily and quickly carried out, because of easy accessibility.
All material loaders are constructed from electro-polished stainless steel, guaranteeing you contamination-free operation and easy clean down due to the high quality surface finish.
The microprocessor-control is easy to use and displays set values and has alarm indication.
