ULTRABLEND medical is a gravimetric batch dosing and mixing station for plastic granules, additives, and regrind. It has been specially designed for pharmaceutical and medical technology applications.
The high dosing accuracy and consistency of the ULTRABLEND improves end product quality and saves money by using less additives and reducing scrap. The ULTRABLEND is suitable for direct mounting on small injection moulding machines and extruders. All components are accurately dosed and weighed one after another into a weigh hopper. They are then passed to the mixing chamber where they are homogeneously mixed.
Due to the high and consistent dosing accuracy, the additive components can be lowered without a loss in quality at the lower tolerance limit, saving on materials and costs.
All interior and exterior surfaces of the ULTRABLEND medical are constructed from electro polished stainless steel. All seams are fully welded so making the unit absolutely dust proof.

The electro polished stainless steel METRO G material loaders guarantee contamination free operation and are easy to clean due to the high quality surface finish. Material flow in the loader is optimised and assures gentle material handling. The loaders are filter-free and can be equipped with compressed air and a diaphragm valve.
Diaphragm valves at the material inlet operate using only process air from the vacuum circuit. This makes them ideal for clean room operation. No additional compressed air is required.
motan METRO G material loaders are filterless. Any dust particles found in the material are sucked with the vacuum air from the loader and deposited in the central dust filter. The central dust filter is located outside the clean room.
The accurate gravimetric measurement and control of material flow rates guarantees you optimum dosing and mixing.
