Dry air dryer
The COMPACT swift dryers are designed with flexibility in mind. They offer an integrated solution, combining the drying and conveying of the raw material in one unit. The dryers are available in two versions and are each equipped with one drying bin of the size 80 or 150 litres and up to 2 hopper loaders with a capacity of 4 litres each. The COMPACT swift A dryer is provided with advanced functions such as dew point control and dry air conveying function with line purging.
Thanks to a modern 7" touch screen colour display, all conveying and drying functions can be shown and monitored in a user-friendly way. 16 user languages can easily be selected.
The COMPACT swift A version of the dryer, offers dew point indication and dew point control as standard. Regeneration of the molecular sieve is triggered when the maximum dew point set value of the return air has been reached. This value can be defined and set by the user and offers large energy savings.
By cooling the return air, the regeneration air during cooldown and by using dry compressed air when regenerating the desiccant bed, the dryer is able to achieve very low and consistent dew points.
Each COMPACT swift dryer is equipped with two fully insulated, stationary desiccant beds. On the one hand, this saves the user energy in the drying process and ensures constant drying air quality thanks to the large molecular sieve cartridges. On the other hand, the dryers are very reliable due to the long drying cycles, infrequent regeneration, and no moving parts.
Each time the molecular sieve is regenerated, there is a change between heating and cooling. This causes friction and generates dust which blocks the moisture trapping pores in the molecular sieve. The molecular sieve used in motan dryers is equipped with a high level of mechanical and chemical stability. This ensures optimal dry air quality and increases the service life of the molecular sieve.
The flow properties of material through the drying bin are decisive for whether the material is dried evenly and precisely. Incorrect mass flow can lead to "dead" corners where the material is over dried, or the material will flow too quickly through the middle of the bin resulting in under dried material. The optimum geometry of motan swift drying bins are determined by calculation and practical tests, guaranteeing correctly dried material is delivered to your processing machine.
The drying bins are equipped with large cleanout doors including a sight glass and easy-to-open quick release handles. The door design is integrated into the bin geometry to optimize the material flow and simplify cleaning.
The complete drying bin is made of stainless steel and is completely rust-free, regardless of any production environment and material. By insulating the complete drying bin, constant and stable conditions are achieved, and you also save energy during drying.
The integrated conveying function in the COMPACT swift saves you space and money as no separate conveying system is needed. It can control up one drying bin hopper loader and one machine loader, as well as the blower and filter.
Side channel vacuum blowers are perfect for moderate distance conveying applications. The conveying blowers are IE3 rated and offer premium energy efficiency. The simple, quiet and compact design allows the pump to be installed under the drying bin.
The COMPACT swift A version offers dry air conveying and line purging as standard. This is essential for hygroscopic materials which reabsorb moisture quickly. Conveying is carried out in a closed loop and dry, warm air is used for transporting the material to the processing machine. After every conveying cycle the material feedline is purge. So, maintaining material temperature and eliminating reabsorption of moisture.
